My love of legos has been going on since I was a little kid, I never had quatro, or even duplo. Always just lego. I had (and still have) 2 huge trunks filled with them, as well as a bunch of sorted legos in plastic tubs. Not to mention all the legos spread out on my work table from my little lego building frenzy I was in about last year, that started with the bionicle stuff.

I love how they put the technic and lego together. And with my past legos I’ve made some bad ass stuff if you ask me, anyways with I spotted the Robo Platoon a while ago but never got it, so the other day I went and finally got. I just love them cause they look like lil anime mechas made out of legos! And we all know how much I love my anime.

anyways the red and the tan one are cool they have their weapons n such but that blue one can only fly, and not even forward or anything only up, if you move the “wings” to the back, it looses its balance, not to mention it doesn’t have any weapons for defense… I wouldn’t want to be part of this platoon. But the one major problem I have with this set is the little gray circle in all of their torsos. It doesn’t stay connected! And when trying to move the arms or legs, the top half of the body just pops off like someone just hit a eject button. Also the head needs something on the back side so it doesn’t come off to easy as well.

granted this set isn’t one of those crazy big lego things they got out there, but I’d expect something a bit more from them besides the cool design, you have to have to elements be as sound as the design. I wish they would come up with a huge lego set to do some sweet ass mecha with, and not this dorky looking one the color scheme just sucks if you ask me, hehe but I like how they chopped up a lego guy and took its bottom half and use that for its fingers (they could have done better).

now I’m sure there are some nuts out there, and on line with a step by step on how they did their super lego mecha with pictures and everything but yeah I’m lazy and I just want to buy the damn thing, to bad anything bigger then 6 inches is like over 50 bucks, damn it Aaron why can’t you still work at lego!!

Its been a while since I talked about one of my favorite things that keep me going, something I could never do with out, and that’s my bawls. hehe

ok since Aaron and I came up with so many stupid saying about bawls I made a lil web site to honor the drink (and us). For some reason I never posted this image on the site… Then again the site kinda lost its on going humor after the crazy holiday season at work, since we weren’t drinking them as much… This year I think I’m just going to order the store a case for black Friday or something.
