i wish this god damned winter would end. there has been snow on the ground since, like, november or something. today it’s 19 degrees and fucking freezing. all i want is to wake up in the morning with my windows open, cool spring breeze blowing in, no snow, bright sun… in a perfect world.

i am sick of changing my font style every time i update. fuck this. i’m leaving it like this from now on.

so i finally got my new layout up and running. so far so good, i think. i had nathan make me a banner and some other graphics, but i had decided to change some things around a bit, like the background color. so i just made one of my own. though i do appreciate nathan’s help. it’s so far taken me about 2 days to get everything close to how i want it. unforunately, i’m anal when it comes to my website. everything has to be exactly perfect, or it bugs the shit out of me. i could be out at a bar and i will all of a sudden remember that i forgot to plug wondergirl, or i left a broken link up. i know, it’s sick, right? i need help.

lately i’ve been really frustrated. i think it’s been the weather. in the past two weeks, we’ve had over 10 inches of snow. normally, i don’t have anything against snow. i like snow. but this is the first year that i’ve been so frustrated from driving in it. i’m also frustrated with the longmeadow dpw. i understand that maybe they should wait until it stops snowing to plow, but when it snows for two days, they should plow atleast twice. you’d think so, huh? it usually takes them an extra two days to plow my street and the side streets i live off of. and then when they come to plow, the snow is all compacted into a sheet of ice on the pavement. “oh well” they say. “we tried”. sometimes i think they drive the plows in the reverse with the scoops down just to flatten the snow. “this’ll make it easier to drive on”. why not just make roads out of crisco covered sheets of aluminum? that’d fucking rule.

is it just me, or does this website seem to be a giant bitch fest? i feel like we should all have nicknames like “sally seth” and “cathy caffeine”. we’re pathetic.

so i haven’t been around for a couple days. almost a week, i guess. i haven’t even gotten to update my own site yet. i haven’t felt like it. i guess i’m on a kind of sabaticle from the computer. it gets on my nerves if i use it too much. but on the brighter side, i found an old mp3 cd of mine with some rockin’ techno/trance mp3’s on it. i’m glad that i lose stuff and find it months later. i tend to like it better when i’ve lost it for a while (if only my mind counted under that assumption).

i’m supposed to make my brother a web cam page, too, but again, i haven’t felt like doing that either. i’m too lazy. i need to start taking energy supplements or something. does that sweet release crap count?

Finally. My server woes are over. I never though changing servers would be such a hassle. It took so much work that I didn’t even have time to post on such an important site as blindsyntax. Shit man, my bad. It must be the fact that I’m an Atificial Android Responsible for Observation and Nullification. That must be it. Shit, what else could it be? So I’m posting. I have very little to say except that it’s getting cold. This means it will snow soon. This in turn means I will soon be sliding down mountains of icy flakes of water at speeds of over 50 MPH on a pair of titanium sticks. God I love ski season.

Other than that, school is school. I visited my brother at UMass this weekend and checked out his shit. He’s having a blast. I also set him up with a webcam, so he too can now be a cam whore. Check out his site, it’s better than it used to be.

I started school today… finally. After more than 3 months of sitting at home doing nothing, I’ve finally got something to do. Most of you are probably saying, “Why didn’t you get a job, you lazy slob?”. Well, believe me, I’ve been trying. I’ve only applied to like 6,000 different places, and not heard back from one of them. I’m beginning to think the only place that’ll hire me is McDonald’s… but then again, I may be under qualified for that job, too. Fucking pieces of shit that they are.

Next Wednesday is the 1 year anniversary of the September 11th incident in NY and Washington DC and I have a feeling that people are going to make a huge deal out of it. I mean, seriously… I know it was a horrible thing, and people died… but c’mon people. You can’t dwell on it. Why do you think 90% of Americans are depressed? Because all we do is dwell on the bad things that happen to us. It’s been 60 years since Pearl Harbor, and christ, people still treat it like it happened yesterday. We should move on. It’s been a year and on the news it’s still all I hear. September 11th this and that… blah blah blah, yada yada yada. Don’t think I’m being insensitive… I’m just fed up with the same crap on the TV and in the papers all the time. For fucking christs sake… Let’s bomb the shit out of Iraq. Let’s invade Afghanistan. Let’s kill anyone violating the anti-terror laws in airports by single gunshot to the head. By the way: Happy September 11th Day, ya’ll.

*yawn* It’s too god damned early to even try and update my own web page, but I had the urge to update something. I wish my page was this easy to update. Instead, I need to actually pretend to code it myself. Thank heavens for Blogger. I’m sitting in my computer room waiting for Kenny to call so I can go to CT and set up a show. I really wasn’t planning on getting up this early on a Saturday, but I didn’t really sleep last night. I woke up about 1 AM, and have been up ever since. When will the madness end, I say!
