Pumpkin Fun

So today i really wanted to carve pumpkins but i had no one to do it with. and i was thinking that i’d go for a little drive tomorrow to look for some from a local grower for cheep, and not what they are at stop and shop…

the only thing with that is, that its one of those things that you’d do with a girlfriend or what have ya, you know going for a ride, picking out the pumpkins, going back home and having fun carving them up together, a date thing.

so i was talking to Amy tonight and she said that Lo was staying over for the night after work, and we came up with the idea of getting pumpkins and carving them all together as a surprise for Lo. so with that i went down to stop and shop paid my 12 bucks for the 3 huge pumpkins and one of those pumpkin saws for kids (mind you those rock for carving) and 2 stake knives (that are good for stake, and could be better for pumpkins) and headed over to Amys.

we had a blast, hot chocolate, popcorn, toasted pumpkin seads, and a new tradition is born, something i will be looking forward to from now on this time of year.

i was going to use a stencil of a dragon on my pumpkin, but that didn’t work out that well trying to put it on, so i free handed a wacky face, Lo did a drunk/stoned mexican smoking a blut (or the stem of her pumpkin that came off), and Amy… well amy did something more of a hieroglyphic style of something that she is very fond of, see if you can make out what it says…
